A day in the snow

Silver Creek Falls
Stopping at a viewpoint while the boys slept

What a beautiful view

All bundled up

Me trying to get a glimpse of Wesley's face to see what he thought of the snow

Daddy helping Chase make a snow angel

Our little snowman with gummy eyes and a french fry nose

Daddy pulling Chase back up the hill...it was a long hike!

Rosie little cheeks

He had soooo much fun!!

Bringing our snowman home

We had a wonderful time. Patrick and Chase must of went down that hill a dozen times. The four of us even went down together once...wish someone could have gotten a picture of that! Wesley did really well. He enjoyed watching his two best buddies play and laugh. We're excited to plan our next day of sledding...maybe next weekend.

his first sleep-over

Chase went to his friend Seth's 4th birthday party. His mom, April (a very good friend of mine from highschool) was brave enough to host the big event! I decided to stay the night too. I wanted to help with all the little boys and be there just in case Chase wanted to go home at 2 in the morning.

The boys played hard until about 10 o'clock. They finally got to bed and ended up staying awake laughing and singing until after midnight! And were up by 6 in the morning! Needless to say Chase took many naps that day, one on the drive home and again at home and again on our way to Silver Creek Falls.

The boys finally getting to bed

The boys being so quiet we thought they were sleeping.....

until we went and checked on them!

.....at least they're playing quietly.

I had as much fun as he did. We stayed up late watching chick-flicks and lauging about old times.

In the morning we all had mickey mouse pancakes and then Chase and I drove home in the snow :)

Here's a little video I took with my camera. The boys were boxing and wrestling for hours. April lives very close to a busy train track. Anybody who knows Chase knows how much he would love this. There must have been 10 or more trains that went by. Each and every time Chase would scream and go running for that window....even at 4 in the morning! Too funny.

Chase's 3 yr picture

This was taken when Chase just turned 3. He did that pose all on his own. He's a natural!

I realize this is all going to be out of order. I want to share lots of pictures, both old and new :)

A visit with the Doctor

Wes had his 6 mo. well baby appointment today. He measured a very tall 29 1/2" and weighed in at 23.8 lbs (gasp!). He is off the charts, but proportinate:)The doctor was pleased to hear he is so active, considering his size. Our little worm, scoooting across the floor and sitting up with no help at all. She said he should start slimming up soon.
He got 3 shots today and didn't even cry or whimper. Took it like a man. He's so amazing!

Wesley's 6 months

Here he is. Standing tall with a little help. Look at that smile. It melts my heart.
This baby face just kills me. That pouty lip and and his big brown eyes. Too cute!
